Scott studied Cybernetics and Control Engineering at Reading University. His final year project incorporated many innovations we see coming to market today. The three-wheeled robot he built used neural networks combined with multiple sensor types to help it learn to move, navigate obstacles and hunt.


Since then Scott has worked with large, household name corporations, founded, invested in and helped to grow startups internationally. He’s been involved in bringing new technologies to market that we all take for granted today. 

Most recently, working for a multi-billion dollar international information services company, Scott defined and helped bring to market a new concept; focusing on the combined potential of technologies like IoT, 5G, AI and Blockchain to create new market opportunities.

Paul has more than 30 years’ experience bringing new technology products and services to market and has a number of industry firsts to his name, including launching the world’s first secure mobile banking service, revolutionising the UK mobile industry with the launch of the first SaaS entertainment portal with Virgin Mobile, and launching new 3G and 4G devices internationally with leading mobile operators including Vodafone, Telefonica & Orange. 

Paul has held senior sales management & strategic business development roles and grown domestic and international business for household technology brands and innovative start-ups. Before co-founding InnovationScouts.tech Paul led commercial partnerships & business development for a leading provider of mobile network performance analytics technologies and services.

Total commitments (hard cap) of EUR30Mio. From 2014 to 2017 he served as Head of Investments of Bahrain Development Bank (the Government Bank of the Kingdom of Bahrain) launching the Investment Division and raising the first Islamic Private Equity Fund (Shari’ah Compliant) for SMEs of a total target sum of USD130Mio and Al Waha VC Fund of Funds for a sum of USD100Mio (to be deployed in MENA and International Fund Managers). He was also supervising the treasury desk and managed the direct investment portfolio of the Bank. From 2005 to 2012 he was Investment Director of EBN Capital managing three different Private Equity Funds for a total sum of EUR120Mio and LPs such as European Investment Fund, France Telecom and Spanish Saving Banks.
